The building dates back to the 18th Century (formely the P.J Carroll
& Co. tobacco warehouse). The museum holds exhibitions on Louth's
history and heritage. It also holds exhibitions of film, concerts and
lectures.

Dundalk Town Hall

Built on the site of an old gaol. The town bought the building when the
Corn Exchange Company went into liquidation in 1865.
The site is regarded as the home of the legendary hero Chú
Chulainn. The
castle is a Norman Motte and bailey built around 1180. From the top of
the motte you can see Dundalk Bay which on a clear sunny day is an
amazing sight.
